System Information Page

Displays the Oracle FS System information, including the name, administrator contact information, and software version. The page also provides an overview of the Controller configuration and the Storage Classes of the available Drive Groups.

The administrator controls the following fields on this page:

Name
Description
Location
Contact Name
Contact Phone
Asset Number

Name

Identifies the name that is assigned to the Oracle FS System. The system name also appears in the status bar.

Description

Displays the system description as defined by the system administrator.

Model

Displays the model number of Oracle FS System.

Status

Displays the overall health status of the Oracle FS System.

Controllers

Displays the number and service type of Controllers that are installed in the system.

The Controller service types include:

SAN Only
NAS Only
SAN and NAS with SAN bias
SAN and NAS with NAS bias

Drive Groups

Displays the available Storage Classes that are installed in the system and the number of drives in each Storage Class.

Manufacturer

Displays the manufacturer of the Oracle FS System.

Location

Displays the system location as defined by the system administrator.

Contact Name

Displays the primary contact person as defined by the system administrator.

Contact Phone

Displays the phone number of the primary contact person as defined by the system administrator.

Asset Number

Displays the system asset number as defined by the system administrator.

Serial Number

Identifies the system serial number (SSN) that Oracle assigned to the system.

IP Address

Identifies the public IP address of the Oracle FS System management interface. This interface provides access to the Oracle FS System Manager. The administrator provides this IP address in the Interfaces tab of the Global Settings > Networking page.

MAC Address

Identifies the Media Access Control (MAC) address of the currently active Pilot node.

Software Version

Identifies the release level of the software and firmware modules that manage the entire Oracle FS System.
