Displays event notices.

When an event is triggered, the Oracle FS System sends a notification to the designated email recipients.

Name

Displays the user-defined name of the event notification.

Description

Displays the user-defined description of the event notification.

Enable Event Notification

Displays whether the event notification is enabled. When checked, this option activates the notification when the event occurs on the Oracle FS System.

Event Notification Recipient Email Addresses

Displays the email addresses of the recipients who are to receive event notifications. The email server to which the Oracle FS System sends notifications must be able to send messages to these email addresses.

Monitored Events

By severity, then category
Sorts the list of events by severity with a list of event categories. The severity categories include:
Informational

Requires no action for events that are information only.

Warning

Requires no immediate action for minor conditions that you can address at your convenience.

Critical

Requires prompt action to prevent system failures or offline conditions.

By category, then severity
Sorts the list of events by categories with a list of event severity. The categories include:
Security

Events to notify of a security problem, such as an unauthorized request.

Audit

Events that track what users are doing, such as the operations that they performed.

System

Events to notify of system problems, such as a missing Drive Enclosure or Controller.

Events Not Monitored

Displays the list of events not set to be monitored. The Oracle FS System does not trigger a notification when an event listed occurs.

Monitored Events

Displays the list of events that you specified to be monitored. The Oracle FS System triggers a notification each time an event that you specified occurs. The email addresses specified in the Event Notification Recipient Email Addresses field receive the event notifications.
