Navigation:
Displays, by Storage Class, the storage capacities for all of the single tier LUNs and auto‑tier LUNs in the selected Storage Domain.
For each available Storage Class, the system displays a graph for the following storage capacities.
- Single Tier
Indicates the allocated storage capacity for single tier LUNs.
- Auto Tier
Indicates the allocated storage capacity for auto‑tier LUNs.
The solid portion of the graph identifies the allocated capacity that is using to RAID 5 or RAID 6. The shaded portion of the graph identifies the allocated capacity that is using to RAID 10.Note: RAID 6 is only available on a Capacity HDD Storage Class.
- Immobile
Indicates that the storage capacity cannot move to a lower cost, lower performance Storage Class. You can reduce immobile capacity by including low performance Storage Classes in the LUNs.
The solid portion of the graph identifies the allocated capacity that is using to RAID 5 or RAID 6. The shaded portion of the graph identifies the allocated capacity that is using to RAID 10.Note: RAID 6 is only available on a Capacity HDD Storage Class.
- Free
Displays the amount of capacity that is available for allocation in the indicated Storage Domain.
- Unused
Displays the amount of capacity that is allocated for, but not used by auto‑tiered LUNs. The unused free capacity can only be used for auto‑tiered LUNs. Compact the Storage Domain to release the unused space for non‑auto‑tiered LUNs.
- Preparing
Displays the amount of capacity that is being initialized. This value typically results from a volume having been deleted. This value decreases over time while the value for free space correspondingly increases for the indicated Storage Domain.
