Modify Auto-Tiered LUN: Change to Single-Tier QoS

You might want to change an auto‑tiered LUN to single-tier LUN when you want to use fixed QoS resources and Storage Classes.

Navigate to SAN > Storage > LUNs.
Select the LUN that you want to modify.
Select Actions > Modify.
Click the Quality of Service tab.
Click Single Tier.
Update the QoS properties, as necessary.
To save your changes to the LUN, click OK.

The Tier Reallocation column of the LUNs overview page changes states from an auto‑tier state, such as Enabled, to a dash (‑ ‑). This state change indicates that the LUN is now single-tier.
