Privileges

Labor Management privileges are administered the exact same way as general privileges. Administration of Labor Management privileges are significant for a number of reasons. For example, Labor Management deals with sensitive information, like Social Security Numbers. You can impose privileges to determine which users can and cannot access sensitive information and other types of data. The following privileges are specific to Labor Management:
  • Human Resources: Specifies what rights and abilities are available to users in the Human Resources module.

  • Payroll Processing: Specifies what rights and abilities are available to users in the Payroll Preprocessing module.

  • Forecasting: Specifies what rights and abilities are available to users in the Forecasting module.

Usually, Portlet Administration is a task carried out by the system administrator; however, any appropriately privileged user can also perform this task. The Reporting and Analytics Advanced User Guide contains detailed instructions on how to configure user privileges.
