Now that you have set up payroll deductions, you can assign one-time deductions to employees using the Payroll Deduction Assignment feature. You can search for and select employees individually and assign these one-time deductions on an as needed basis. The steps required to assign a one-time deduction are very similar to those required for assigning recurring deductions.
Recurring payroll deductions are assigned in the Human Resources Employee Administration page. If the employee has recurring deductions assigned, they appear in Payroll Deduction Assignment for information purposes. You cannot edit recurring deductions from this page.
