Adding an Exit Time Clock Button

You can add this button to close the Timeclock.exe if a problem occurs.
  1. In the POS Configurator, click System, and then click External Programs.
  2. Add a new External Program called Labor Management Time Clock Exit, and then set the Working Directory to the directory where the TimeClock.exe is located.

    Oracle Hospitality recommends using MICROS Macros to set your directory. This ensures that all directory paths will be the same if you have Windows CE clients. For example,$(MICROS_DIR_ROOT)\RES\ MyBackoffice.

  3. Set the Command Line to the TimeClock.exe setup file and enter /e to the end of the time clock executable file.

    For example, $(MICROS_DIR_ROOT)\ RES\ MyBackoffice\ TimeClock.exe /e

  4. Click Save.
  5. Configure a time clock exit button on all touchscreens that have clock in and clock out functionality, and then Save.
