Publishing a Data Load Manually

If you load a billing file with the 05_Publish global variable set to Y, the manual publish option, then you must run the ODI COMPLETELOAD scenario to process the data to the production tables. Loading a billing file using the manual publish option suppresses automatically publishing to production.

The COMPLETELOAD scenario moves the billing data from WIP tables into the OLTP and OLAP production tables.

To publish a billing data load manually

1. Log in to the Oracle Data Integrator as the repository owner.
2. On the Designer tab, expand Packages, and expand the CompleteLoad package.
3. Expand Scenarios, right-click on the COMPLETELOAD scenario, and click Run.
4. Select the ODIAgent from the Logical Agent drop-down list, and click OK.
5. In the Variable Values dialog, uncheck the File_Name variable.
6. In single quotation marks, enter the name of the file to publish. Enter the file name only, not the path.
7. Click OK.
