Hiding Price Details on Waste Checks

A waste check measures the cost of wasted inventory as opposed to a guest check that posts the prices of menu items to the sales totals.

Complete these steps if you do not want to display prices of waste menu items in the check detail area of the workstation screen or print prices on waste receipts.

1. In the EMC, select the Enterprise level, click Setup, and Format Parameters.
2. Select the Options tab and select 54 - Do not display/print price for Waste.
3. Click Save.
