Configuring the Android Device

Perform the following steps before installing Simphony software.

1. Configure the Android device to be a member of the point of sale (POS) network using a static Internet Protocol (IP) address.
2. Install antivirus software.
3. Turn off Trusted Sources on the device. See the manufacturer instructions for details.
4. If you are using a Bluetooth printer, pair it with the device. See the manufacturer instructions for details.
