Button: Message to operator

After clicking onto this button a message can be sent to the selected operator. The message appears in the display or on the sales screen. A window then opens and the text can be entered. The procedure is described under Text .

NOTE:

• This function is not possible in single user mode.
• The sender (administration) and recipient (operator/POS) should not be linked to the same processing unit.
• The message should not be sent to the sender nor to an operator who has not signed on. The system sends the message "Not to yourself" or "No log on (2, Frau Meier) <Op.no., Op.name>".
• The message appears on the POS on which the operator in question has signed on. If the POS is being used for an itemisation, the message appears after receipt finalisation.
• The message is accompanied by an acoustic signal.
