Locking Terminals

The MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application enables the locking of sales terminals.

This can be achieved by using the program Terminals. Retrieve the terminal to be locked on the screen by entering the values in the key fields and click the Lock terminal button with the mouse. Answer the question Are you sure? by clicking on the Ok button. The terminal is then locked.

Note:

• You can only block a terminal for which no operator has signed on.
• You can recognize a locked terminal by the message locked on the display or screen. If the terminal is unlocked via the Unlock Terminal button, the message Sign on will appear.
