Delete Transactions
The
MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application allows you to delete
- stock-related transaction data
- of various areas
- depending on the date.
It
is up to you to decide up on which date the data is to be deleted.
By
use of this button, (in the window Branch), you open
a window which offers you data from over 30 transaction files for deletion.
Deletion Procedure:
- All transaction data that is to be deleted in the
various files have to be highlighted by activating the corresponding options.
- You have to define the date up to which the data
is to be deleted. By default, you are offered the current date minus three
days (not book days!), i.e. after the confirmation of the default setting,
the booking data of the last few days prior to the current date will be
retained.
- After you have made the selection, you have to
define the output medium for the deletion protocol. By this, you activate
the deletion procedure. (By clicking on "Close", the procedure
will be cancelled.)
- Afterwards, a deletion report will be printed.
