Dallas key lock (Aures Elios hardware)
The configuration tool "CID test AP" from the Aures company is needed to configure the Dallas key lock.
The following parameters has to be set in MICROS Retail OSCAR POS for the connection of the Dallas key to the EpoS terminal "Aures Elios".
The "Dallas key lock" has to be connected to MICROS Retail OSCAR POS as a Generc PS2 device:
Device
· Configure for the terminal process unit a device from type -> Keyboards -> Generic PS2 device. The device interface is 99.
· Activate the option "Waiter lock"
· Enter the number of the linked device type in the field "Device type".
· In the field delay enter the value of 200 (=millisecond).
Geräte Type (Generic Device)
- Configure the device type of the Dallas key lock (e.g. "Dallas Aures").
- Enter the number 65507 in the field "Key code". Enter the number 19 in field "Followed by", the number 18 in files "Data lenght" and the number 32 in field "end code".
Data description (Subtype 1)
- Configure the Subtype1 and enter in the field "Event name" the string "WAITERPEN".
Type identifier (Subtype 1)
- Configure a type identifier for the "Subtype 1" and enter the value 32 in the field "Position 1".
User data (Subtype 1)
- No entries.
Device data (Subtype 1)
- No entries.
Replacements (Subtype 1)
- No entries.
Data description (Subtype 2)
- Configure the Subtype2 and enter in the field "Event name" the string "WAITERPEN"
- In field "User data mask" enter the string %12h.
Type identifier (Subtype 2)
- Configure a type identifier for the "Subtype 2" and enter the value 32 in the field "Position 0
User data (Subtype 2)
· Enter the following values as "User data" for Subtype 2.
