POS Cards
The MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application supports the deployment of up to two POS cards that enhance a system unit by further interfaces.
Currently, two different POS cards can be deployed:
the
PS card OLD =
The POS card NEW = (APN 09751.677-0000).
The connection of the data line to the POS card is to take place via special RJ45 connection cables.
Note:
The connection cables are
to be deployed for the appropriate RJ45 socket and must not be exchanged among
each others. Further information on the deployment of special connection cables
can be found in the technical specification.

The arrangement of the RJ45 sockets of the POS card NEW is described in the following graphic image.
Interface Device Assignment for the POS card
The connection cables are to be deployed for the appropriate RJ45 socket and must not be exchanged among each others. Further information on the deployment of special connection cables can be found in the technical specification.
