The following attributes can
be assigned to the keys:
Key colour, lettering type,
font, font size, presentation, lettering colour and alignment.
The layout work can be
simplified by assigning these attributes globally (i.e. for the whole
keyboard). All keys are then given the attributes automatically after the
global setting operation. Keys which were defined prior to the global setting
are not affected. Consequently, the global attributes can be re-defined during
keyboard layouting.
Click on function "Global
keyboard attributes" in menu "File" to open dialog window
"Keyboard attributes".
Dialog window "Keyboard attributes"
The base setting of the
keyboard size set in the "Start Dialog" is shown at the top of the window.
Click on button "Key
color" in sector "Key attributes" of the dialog to open the
dialog window "Color" and select a colour from the palette offered.
Colours can also be mixed by using "Define colour".
For further help click on
"?" in dialog "Color" and then on the object for which help
is required.
Click on button B
"Lettering type" in sector "Text attributes" of the dialog
to open dialog window "Lettering type". All attributes can be set
globally here. Further help can be called up by clicking on "?" in
dialog "Lettering type" and then on the object for which help is
required. The attributes set are displayed in section "Text
attributes" of the dialog window.
Click on button
"Alignment" in section "Alignment" of the dialog window to
open the dialog window "Text alignment". The text position on the key
can be defined with the options offered in this window.
The standard setting
"Horizontal centre", "Vertical centre" means
that the text appears in the middle of the key.
Close the dialog window
"Keyboard attributes" with click on "OK" to confirm the
global settings.
Click on "Abort" if
the global keyboard attributes are not to be changed.
