  5. Max. 99 clients can be deployed per installation (provided that the server is equipped with the appropriate hardware). Requirements for larger installations are to be inquired about.
  6. It is recommended to equip every store with 1 server (min.). Otherwise, a leased line from the store to the central is necessary.

B. Operating Modules and Keyboards

  1. topcash, topkey have a modular structure and have thus to be ordered.
  2. topcash und topkey can be delivered with 60, 120 or 180 keys.
  3. When connecting an ADS 48 as an operating module, you have to consider the following:

C. External Customer Display

  1. toplook cannot be connected to the 49er operating module or to the ADS 48.
  2. toplook is operated at a V24 interface (COM 1, topcash). When connected to the COM 1 interface, a power supply is needed.

  2. The manual scanner 40.3277 is supplied with power via the computer. If MICROS Retail Deutschland GmbH computers are deployed, an external power supply is not necessary. If other computers are in use, it might be necessary to deploy an external power supply.
  3. The G&D Winkel can be connected to COM 1 or COM 2.
  4. The checkout scale (Bizerba) can be connected to the terminal card via the interfaces COM A (direct) or COM B (interface distributor).
  5. An Orderman is to be connected to COM 1 or COM 2. Max. 4 hand-helds per server/client can be operated. The product-specific restrictions apply.
  6. Up to 16 remote printers can be connected to a system unit. The connection has to take place via the LSV interfaces of the terminal card.
For speed reasons, it is strongly recommended to distribute the remote printer connections over multiple system units, i.e. one remote printer per system unit, if possible.
