BC parameter

The program description deals with the following:

Remarks on program function

The batch communication supports the option of exchanging statistics and update data via XML files between the main and sub-installations. Data exchange with software applications of other manufacturers is also possible with XML files.

The batch communication parameters for import and export of XML files from and to the main and branch servers can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed for information.

Note:
The batch communication parameters must be updated for every installation, i.e. for all sub-installations and for the main installation. This defines the names of the import and export files and the local directories on the appropriate hard disk of the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS server.

The option Use batch comm. should also be activated in program System -> Configuration -> Installation to ensure that XML files can be created for this installation.

Click on the graphic for further help with programming the batch communication via XML.
