Remarks on the Program Function

By use of this program you can view the current state of the selected MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop. You will be informed about the date of creation of the shop (button = Create new Shop Database), the date and time of the last update (button = Shop Update) and the date and time of the last pickup of customer and order data from the shop to the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application (button = Customer/Orders from Shop). The program is purely for information.

Remarks on the Input Fields

This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.

Just like in almost any other program:

• The Input Mask may be different in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the application. In some cases some Data Fields may be missing.
• Some input fields may contain default values or defined selection options; these cannot be updated.
• The input mask contains some fields that require an entry and others in which entries are optional.
• If the data record is updated via multi-page input masks, go to the Dialog Window by clicking on the appropriate buttons with <Mouse key 1>.
• The same procedure applies to call up another update program from this program.
• In some cases you may find that so-called "Switches" which - depending on the default - can be activated or deactivated with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches are identified by their dark color, deactivated switches are lighter-colored.

Company

Displays the number of the company to which this shop is assigned.

Shop No.

Displays the number of the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop.

Current Log File No.

Displays the number of the current log file.

Note:

Log files are created up to a size of only approx. 1Mb each and are stored with a sequential number, e.g. LOGFILE.1, LOGFILE.2 etc. When the defined size is exceeded, the next log file is created automatically with a sequential number, e.g. LOGFILE.2.

Current Position No.

Displays the current position of the log file.

Date last Update Shop

Displays the date on which the last update of the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop was carried out (cp. button = Shop Update).

Time last Update Shop

Displays the time at which the last update of the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop was carried out (cp. button = Shop Update).

Date last Update from Shop

Displays the last date on which data have been transferred from the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop to the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application (button = Customer/Orders from Shop).

Time last Update from Shop

Displays the last time at which data have been transferred from the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet hop to the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application (Button = Customer/Orders from Shop).

Date create Shop

Displays the date on which the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop was last created (button = Create new Shop Database).

Time create Shop

Displays the time at which the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS internet shop was last created (button = Create new Shop Database).
