Stock movement branch out

The following program description deals with:

Remarks on the Program Function

By use of this program, you can maintain the data for stock movements out to other branches, i.e. create new data records, modify or delete existing data. You can also view already stored data for information purposes.

By use of this program, only the stock items from a different branch can be moved out. For stock movements within the same branch, you have to use the update program Stock Movement.

Proceed as follows to carry out a Stock Movement (out):

  1. In the first step, the formal data is to be entered via this update program to store the data record with a number given by the system.
  2. In the second step, the missing items are to be assigned to the stock movement via the update program Stock Movement in Position.

Notes:

The Stock Movement out is only finished correctly after you have clicked on the button Execute after saving.

 Button: Execute

The stock movement out then receives the state "Confirmed".

Note:
After you have confirmed a stock movement out, you can still view the data but you cannot change it.

Remarks on the Input Fields

This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.

Just like in almost any other program:

Company

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the company for which you would like to edit a stock movement out. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.

Branch

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the branch for which you would like to edit a stock movement out. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.

Stock move No.

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99999999

When creating a new stock movement out, confirm this field by pressing <Enter>. During the following storage process, the system will generate the smallest free number automatically.

For modifications or deletions, call the data record by entering the numbers stored in the system.

If you do not know the numbers, you can also use the Search Function.

Operator

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99999999

This field is locked. The system displays the number of the signed-on operator.

The operator has to be created via the program Operator and authorized to use this program before being able to carry out a stock movement.

Text…

Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 40 chars.

You can enter a free text describing the stock movement out.

From branch

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the branch from which the items are to be taken. If you do not know the number, you can also use the Search Function.

From stock.

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the stock from which the items are to be taken. If you do not know the number, you can also use the Search Function.

To branch

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the branch to which the items are to be moved. If you do not know the number, you can also use the Search Function.

To stock

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the stock to which the items are to be moved. If you do not know the number, you can also use the Search Function.

Transit branch

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 9999

An entry is only necessary in this field if this is a branch to which no communication could be established when the stock move out operation was carried out (e.g. a train or a ship has not reached reached the station or the docks). Stock move is possible after setting up a virtual branch and stock move in can be done later.

Stock

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 9999

An entry is only necessary in this field if this is a stock to which no communication could be established when the stock move out operation was carried out (e.g. a train or a ship has not reached reached the station or the docks). Stock move is possible after setting up a virtual stock and stock move in can be done later.

Move department

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 999999

Enter the no. of a department in this field if only articles of this department are to be moved out. Only move out positions for articles of this department will be created with Create pos.for dept."

 

If move out positions are to be created for all articles depress button "Create pos.for compl. stock".

Date

Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)

Displays the date of the stock movement out. This field can be edited manually, though.

Time

Permitted input range: HHMMSS (hour, minute, second)

Displays the time of the stock movement out. This field can be edited manually.

Offline transaction

Button activated: Offline transactions for the PDA has been created for this stock movement branch out.
Button deactivated:. No offline transactions for the PDA has been created for this stock movement branch out.

Note:
Stock movement branch out should be generally created at the backoffice before they will send to the PDA as offline transaction.
