Maintenance of the Key “Customer Match Code”

The key name “Customer Match Code” is to be understood as an example only. The key name can be chosen at will (e.g. Customer\s?).

For the customer match code, a key with the code MCUST has to be configured. Go to System -> Configuration -> Keyboard. Select the connected keyboard and open the sub-window “Keys” via the button Keys.

Define

• The position of the key by entering the row and the column values. Confirm by pressing Return.
• Enter MCUST in the field Event Name and confirm with Return.
• Do not make any entries in the fields “Event Data" and "ASCII".

Close the window and save your entries in the window Keyboard.

Now you will only have to label the (physical) key on your keyboard.

The terminal is entered with key <MCUST> and from entry of the match code and subsequent confirmation with key <ST>.
