On the House Sales

Go to Application -> Organisation -> Company. Select the company on the level of which the “On the House” sales is to be created. Click on the button Transaction type to enter the program Transaction type:

• Select the category On the house sale,
• Enter a sequential number in the field Transaction type,
• Enter a name in the field Descriptor (e.g. entertainment).

Click on the button Operation parameter to open the program of the same name.

• Assign the appropriate terminal type.
• The options Blocked, Supervisor, Receipt Predepression and Item Predepression can be activated if required. Please note that the activation/ deactivation of these options only refers to the selected Transaction type of the defined terminal type (in this case the On the house sale).
• Blocked
  If this option is activated, on the house sale is not allowed.
• Supervisor
  If this option is activated, on the house sale is only allowed via the supervisor.
• Receipt Predepression
  If this option is activated, receipt predepression is allowed.
  Please note that one of the options “Receipt Predepression” and “Item Predepression” has to be activated to allow an on the house sale to be booked.
• Item Predepression
  If this option is activated, the item predepression in on the house sale is allowed.
  Please note that one of the options “Receipt Predepression” and “Item Predepression” has to be activated to allow an on the house sale to be booked.

Close the window and save your entries.

Go to System -> User Interface -> Form text:

• Select the language (2 = English).
• Select the form name Sales, or enter it.
• Enter Entertainment in the field “Field Name”. Make sure that this name is identical to that entered in the program Transaction type.
• Enter the terminal (receipt) text in the field Translation.

Save your entries.

The entries will only become effective after the terminal application has been stopped and started again.
