Maintenance of Receipt Foot Texts (Status Line)
In the following, you will be informed about how to
maintain status lines in the receipt foot. The receipt head/ foot, used as
advertising lines, is described in the chapter Maintenance of the Receipt Foot (Advertise
Lines).
In the first step, you will be informed about how to modify the texts; the second step is
about how to modify the values.
Text modifications of the status line are to be
carried out via the program Form Text (System ->
User Interface).
- Define the language by entering the appropriate
number in the field Language or via the search function.
- Enter RecFootH* in the field Field name.
- Start the search process via the Search button
(magnifying glass).
- The translated text line (receipt no., date etc.)
will be displayed in the field Translation.
- Modify the text by overwriting. You can also
delete or insert texts (the latter is restricted to the permitted number
of characters on the receipt).
- Save your entries and close the window.
Note:
Changes to the values in a status line require FGL knowledge, i.e. they are not carried out in
the normal application area. Commands and paths in this example are for Linux operating system.
Various examples can be found in the chapter Receipt Print Changes - Examples:
- Sign on as user
oscar ("su oscar".
- If you are on the graphic user interface, open a
new Linux window.
- Enter the directory /home/oscar/oscar.d/fgl via
the command cd
/home/oscar/oscar.d/fgl.
- Define the correct access authorisation for the
file KasseFH.fgl via "chmod 775 KasseFH.fgl".
- Open the file KasseFH.fgl via "vi KasseFH.fgl"
- Search for the text passage RecFootHeadLine.
- You will know that it is the status line for the
receipt if some lines earlier, the text says:
#print statusline on receipt/journal.
- Make changes by e.g. changing or removing
positions etc.
- Save your entries and close the file.
