Printing a compressed receipt

In the following, the printing of a compressed receipt at an itemising terminal will be outlined. Compression means that same items on a receipt will be grouped, i.e. they will not be printed individually.

A receipt can be compressed via the definition of the printer parameters. In this case, all compressed receipt printing will be retrospective. This procedure is always required when you work without a retrospective receipt.

  1. Compression via the definition of the printer parameters, only a subsequent receipt will be printed.

    • Go to Terminals -> Tables -> Printer Parameter.
      • Activate the option Receiptprinter off.
      • Activate the option Subseq.Receipt.
      • Activate the option Compress Receipt.
      • Go to System -> Configuration -> Keyboard -> Keys.
    • Booking
      • Book as usual. The booking transactions will not be recorded yet.
      • Close the receipt. The receipt will be printed retrospectively. All items included more than once will be printed in groups.
  2. Compression via a key

    • Go to System -> Configuration -> Keyboard -> Keys.
      • Configure a key with the key code RECZIPPRINT.
    • Note:
The option Compress Receipt in the window Printer Parameter must be deactivated.
    • Booking
      • Book as usual. The booking transactions will be recorded parallel.
      • Close the receipt.
      • Press the key with the key code RECZIPPRINT. A second retrospective receipt will be printed. All items included more than once will be grouped.
