Configuration of the Operation type Return

In the following, the essential parameter settings that are necessary for the configuration of the operation mode Return will be listed. Further information, particularly on the fields, can be found in the relevant program descriptions.

1. Window Operation type
   Go to Parameters -> Misc. Params. -> Operation type.
• Select the company.
• Select the category Return.
• Enter the Operation type 1 if the booking is to be carried out via the key code RET or 2 if the booking takes place via fRET (for fRET, you have to enter the number of the operation mode in the field Event Data in the window Keys).
• Enter a name for the operation mode.
• Activate the option Enter Price if returned discount items are to be booked back with the booked sales price.
• Activate the option Book Stock if the return changes the quantity in stock.
• Save your entries.
• Open the window Operation Parameter via the appropriate button.
2. Window Operation Parameter
• The assignment to a Terminal Type is important.
• You can activate further options (optional).
• Close the window and save the parameters in the window Operation type.
3. Window Keys
• Go to System -> Configuration- >Keyboard -> Keys.
• You can configure a key with the key code
• RET (in the field Event Name) or
• fRET. For fRET, the number of the operation mode number has to be entered in the field Event Data.
• Save your entries.
