Chart development tools

Using Change Layout tools, you can:

• Create a new chart report.
• Convert a list report to a chart report.
• Convert a crosstab report to a chart report.
• Convert a chart report back to a list report.
• Switch the category values to change the focus of a chart.

  Change layout editing options

  Option	Description
  Change layout menu or toolbar buttons
  Chart	Converts a list or crosstab report to a chart report.
  Ungroup	Reverts to a list report, showing all values in a column including duplicates.
  Swap Rows and Columns	Changes the focus of the chart by interchanging category values in a chart that is based on a crosstab report.
  Chart page
  Chart type	Choose from: Seven available chart types (such as column and pie). Four configuration options (such as standard and stacked).
  Show the values on the chart	Includes the actual summary values in the chart.
  Show the following in the report	Choose: Chart and table —Displays both the chart and the list report upon which it is based. Chart only —Includes only the graphical display.

Note: You can use the Ungroup button only if you opted to display the table (crosstab report) along with the chart.
