Study management report elements

Every InForm study includes the Trial Management data model. Because the Trial Management data model is standard in all InForm studies, you can create reports from this data model and reuse them in other studies. The data model contains:

Description

Study info

Provide information about the study, the study sponsor, and study version in your reports.

Note: Many report elements might retrieve optional data. Reports do not display data for these elements if they have not been used for your study.

Sites

Provide identifying and descriptive data for all sites in a given study.

Subjects

Provide metrics and status information about subjects during the course of the study. The elements and measures in this report topic return study management data. You can use these elements and measures to access such data as current status, status dates, and counts.

Visits

Allow you to create reports on visit properties, status, and dates. All visit types are included in general visit counts for ad hoc reports. To limit your reports to clinical visit counts only, use a predefined filter.

Forms

Provide metrics and status information about forms in your study. Use this report topic to include:

  • Counts of different form types.
  • Information about form properties and states.
  • Information on when forms were initially created and changed.

Sections

Allow you to report on form sections in a study design.

Items

Provide metrics and status information about items on forms in the study. Use this report topic to include counts of different item types, information about item properties, and information on when items were initially created and changed.

Rules

Provide information about rule types and the number of times rules have been triggered.

Queries

Display query text and type, to gather counts on manual and automatic queries, and to see query status.

Comments

Allow you to report on both item-level and form-level comments.

User Info

Allow you to gather information on your InForm users.

Note: Many of these elements are optional in your study design; report elements may return blank values.
