Select Close Reason Window

Purpose: Use this window to select the reason for closing an item on a ship-to-store order.

This option is available only if you have the required authority.

Why close? You might close an item on a ship to store order because it was damaged in shipment, or because it was not received.

How to display this window: Select Close for one or more items at the Receive Order Detail Screen.

Completing this window: Click the reason for closing the item(s) or order(s).

Updates: The order or item(s) are closed immediately, and Store Connect generates an email to the system administrator indicating that the item(s) were closed.

When you close an item, the item is displayed with a status of Canceled on order inquiry screens across locations, such as the View Order History Screen and the View Order Information Screen.
