Purpose: Use the Web Service User screen to work with user names and passwords that identify an integrating system for web service requests. This setup is required.
Note: Order Broker uses web service users only for web service authentication. Unlike Order Broker user profiles, vendor users, or store associates, web service users do not have authority to any Order Broker screens.

How to display this screen: Click the edit icon () at the Web Service Authorization screen.
Note: Only users with Web Service Authorization authority can display this screen. See the Role Wizard for more information.

• Optionally, enter a User name of up to 255 positions. The name can include special (non-alphanumeric) characters and spaces. • Click New to open the New Web Service User window. At this window: • Enter the User or, optionally, change the entered User. • Enter the Password. The Password must: • Be 6 positions or longer • Not be the same as the User • Start with a letter • Include at least one number • Include a special (non-alphanumeric) character Note: • The password can include spaces. • Web service authentication of the password is case-sensitive. • Click Save to save the user and password; otherwise, click Cancel. |
