The Profile tab is divided into four sections: Allow Password Change, Profile Access, Profile Attributes - Edit Settings, and Profile Cache settings. The Allow Password Change section provides a check box for allowing or prohibiting individual users from changing their own application passwords. The Profile Access section provides controls for specifying who can view a given Profile data section, whether users can override this default, and whether users can edit their own views of a given section. The Profile Attributes - Edit Settings section provides check boxes to enable or prohibit users from updating a particular attribute under a given profile section. The Profile Cache settings section provides controls for specifying how long Profile objects are cached, batch size for profile synchronization, and whether user photos are synchronized from LDAP.
