Creating Global Descriptions of Room Types and Rate Codes
Use the Global Description jump to create descriptions of channel room types and rate codes. You can then use the descriptions when mapping room types, rate codes, and other property records to the channel.

Create Global Descriptions
- Within Channel Interfaces, select Property Mapping, then select Global Descriptions.
- Select either the Room Type or Rate Code tab, then select New.
- Create your descriptions using the three description lines provided.
You can edit or delete descriptions after searching by property for room type or rate code descriptions.
