Edit Properties - also enables the I Want To...Change Chain Mode link

Property Controls settings originate when the property is first configured. These settings can be edited afterward, depending on your role/task permissions.

Note that the Chain Mode and Country Mode values within the Application Mode section are read-only.

To edit the Property Controls, select Edit, make your adjustments, and then select Save.

Within the Application Mode section of the Property Controls jump, the Country Mode field is read-only.

To view the Country Mode setting,

1. In the Property Configuration screen, select the Property Controls jump.

2. In the Application Mode section, find the Country Mode field.

Within the Application Mode section of the Property Controls jump, the Chain Mode field is read-only.

To view the Chain Mode setting,

1. In the Property Configuration screen, select the Property Controls jump.

2. In the Application Mode section, find the Chain Mode field.

Navigate to Administration > Enterprise Admin > Chain and Property Management > Properties.
Select a property and then select Edit.
Select the Change Chain Mode link from the "I Want To..." section.
Select a Chain Mode from the list. If there are recommended application settings for the chosen Chain Mode, they are indicated here. You can modify application settings in Opera Parameters.

The Chain Mode cannot be changed if the property belongs to a HUB with properties running in a different Chain Mode or with no Chain Mode.
(That is, a HUB cannot have a mixture of Chain Modes. Therefore, the only way to successfully change the Chain Mode on a property is if it is the only property in the HUB it belongs to. If you want to change the Chain Mode of a property that exists in a HUB with other properties, you must first remove it from the HUB, place it in a HUB that has no other properties, and then change the Chain Mode.)

You can only change the Currency format prior to running End of Day for the property. The Catering Currency format remains editable after running End of Day.

To change your property's currency format,

Navigate to the Chain and Property Management screen > Properties.
Select the Property from the list, and then select Edit.
In the Property Configuration screen, select Property Controls.
Select Edit.
You can change both the Currency and the Currency's format by choosing from the single-select or drop-down list of values.
Select Save.

Ensure that the following parameters are enabled for the Catering Currency section in Property Controls:

You can only change the Currency format prior to running End of Day for the property. The Catering Currency format remains editable after running End of Day.
