FAQ - How do I Check In a Reservation using EZTask?
To Check In a Reservation:
1) Select Check-in from the EZTask screen.
2) Enter or select a Property, and select Search.
(Optional: Enter a guest's name or Reservation's Confirmation number.)
3) From the search results, select the Reservation to Check In.
4) In the Check In Train, complete the section at each step in the process to advance to the next step. (The Check-In "train" will automatically open to the first step in the process that needs information.)
- Review Reservation - Review the reservation to make sure this is the correct reservation and the correct guest (especially if the reservation has sharers or a group). Select the "Go to Reservation" link in the "i want to..." section lower right if there are any changes that need to be made to the Reservation before proceeding.
- Assign Room - Click the room's row to highlight the room, and then select the Complete Check-In step. You can also select the room's number or room's type to pull up the floor plan to see where the room is located.
- Secure Payment - Review, adjust, or complete the payment method for this reservation. Credit card transactions need a card swipe at this step (even if the payment method was manually entered).
- Complete Check-In - Enter additional Check In information. The option to print or preview a registration card is available in the I Want To... section.
5) Select the Check-In button, and then select Done.
