FAQ - What are Package Groups, and how are they handled?

Packages Jump - Displaying Package Groups

Package groups are individual packages combined to create a new package. For example, you may want to combine a Champagne package, a Roses package and a Chocolates package with certain room types to create a Romance Package Group. Although they are combined to create just one package, these package groups take on the characteristics of the individual packages, such as transaction, pricing, and posting, when displayed in the jump; and the Packages Jump link will count them as separate items.

EXAMPLE

This Package Group is defined as the ROMANCE Package Group, and consists of the CHAMPAGNE Package, the CHOCOLATES Package, and the ROSES-DZ Package as follows:

ROMANCE Package Group:

CHAMPAGNE

  • $15.00 USD Per Room
  • Added to the rate as a Separate Line Item
  • Posts on Arrival Night

CHOCOLATES

  • $25.00 USD Per Room
  • Included in the rate
  • Posts on Last Night

ROSES-DZ

  • $35.00 USD Per Room
  • Included in the rate
  • Posts on Arrival Night
