FAQ - What are Package Groups, and how are they handled?
Packages Jump - Displaying Package Groups
Package groups are individual packages combined to create a new package. For example, you may want to combine a Champagne package, a Roses package and a Chocolates package with certain room types to create a Romance Package Group. Although they are combined to create just one package, these package groups take on the characteristics of the individual packages, such as transaction, pricing, and posting, when displayed in the jump; and the Packages Jump link will count them as separate items.
EXAMPLE This Package Group is defined as the ROMANCE Package Group, and consists of the CHAMPAGNE Package, the CHOCOLATES Package, and the ROSES-DZ Package as follows:

The Packages Jump link counts the package group as 3 Total (counts the package grouping as if individual packages) |

Adding the ROMANCE Package Group using the Packages jump.
When attached, the ROMANCE Package Group is shown as its separate components: Champagne, Chocolates, and Roses-DZ.
Select the Manage link to display the daily details for each component. Select the package component (in the summary box top left) or the View Details link on the component's day record (see below) to display further details, such as the duration, posting rhythm, and the package group.
