FAQ - What is the difference between Articles and Transaction Codes?
The Post It "Marketplace Postings" and "Fast Postings" allow you to select Articles or Transaction Codes when handling transactions.
Articles
Articles are items for sale such as snacks, drinks, toiletry items, etc. They are displayed under group headings such as Lobby Bar Beverage, Mini Bar, etc.
Transaction Codes
Transaction codes represent goods and services offered by the property. Transaction Codes with defined prices display when Marketplace Postings is selected (view below). If Fast Postings is selected, Transaction Codes both with and without defined prices display.
