FAQ - How do I close a cashier?
The process of closing a cashier begins by selecting I Want to...Close Cashier on the Cashiering Workspace screen. The Cashier Closure screen appears and displays the transactions carried out by the cashier. The transactions are grouped by Properties.
To close a cashier, perform the following:
1. On the Cashier Closure screen, review all transactions, balances, and shift drops for accuracy. Adjust shift drops, if necessary. If satisfied, select Close Cashier at the bottom of the screen. |

2. A verification pop-up appears. Confirm by selecting Close Cashier. |

3. The Print Closure Reports pop-up appears. Select Print Closure Reports to continue. |

4. A pop-up appears for selecting the destination of your reports. You must select a destination. Options are Print, Email, Fax, or Print Preview. |

5. A Processing Status pop-up appears after printing, emailing, faxing, or print previewing the reports. Select Back to complete the close cashier process. |

Note: Attempting to close the same cashier again during the same shift produces the following notice at the top of the Cashier Closure screen. |
