Post It payment options include charging to a room or credit card and accepting checks or cash. Payment details change depending on the payment option you select. For example, selecting a credit card as the payment method may display a credit card surcharge, if such a surcharge is defined for the property.

FAQ - What are the payment options in Post It?

If charging to a room, the screen displays fields for entering a room number and guest name.
If charging to a credit card or paying by check or cash, additional fields are presented for entering the payment method, card number, expiration date, and card holder name. Some of these fields are optional, depending on the payment method.

Passer By Transactions

The Passer By feature is primarily used to handle transactions for non-guests when a printed folio is requested. Expand the Passer By link to enter the name of the purchaser.

Additional Information

The Additional Information link allows you to enter any notes related to the transaction. For example, you might note the brand of products purchased.
