FAQ - What is the purpose of the Calculate Posting function?
The Calculate Posting function provides a way to test the Generates configured for a transaction code. It allows you to "post" a hypothetical charge, along with any other pertinent information such as Tax Types, Balance, and Room Types, to the transaction code.
The screen above calculates a hypothetical posting of $100 to a transaction code. The Generates attached to the transaction code display proportional amounts based on their transaction codes and the hypothetical $100 amount. |
