FAQ - Why would I move transactions from one reservation to another?

You can move transaction postings between guest bills for any number of reasons. You might move part of a charge when a guest wishes to pay for one or more of another guest's charges. Or, you might want to move certain charges from several guests to one guest who agrees to be responsible for all of the charges, for example, when a company officer serves as a "master account" for employee room rates and taxes.

To move transactions from one reservation to another within the Add Reservation View function:

  1. Select a transaction from the primary reservation.
  2. Drag the transaction to an additional reservation and release (the transaction displays the date when dragged).

FAQ - Why would I move transactions from one reservation to another?

Once a transaction or part of a transaction is transferred, it is removed from the "sending" guest's bill and displays on the "receiving" guest's bill. The transferred transaction also appears on the receiving guest's printed folio.
