Creating Wash Schedules
Block Wash Schedules reduce either a percentage or a fixed number of rooms from a Block on a preset schedule for any number of days and/or room types. The End of Day Final Procedure activates the wash schedule functionality.
When creating or editing Wash Schedules:
- Attach schedules to a block prior to the block's cutoff date.
- Configure only one Details record per wash schedule for each day prior to arrival.
- Set the End of Day Final Procedures for Block Wash Schedule to Active.
How Do I . . .
Set Wash Schedules by Number of Rooms
- Open Block Management and select Wash Schedule.
- Select New, then enter your property name, a wash code, and a description of the wash code.
- Select Add.
- Enter the number of days prior to arrival that the wash is to be performed.
- Select Wash by number of rooms.
- Enter the number of rooms to be returned to house inventory per occupancy level (Occ 1 - 4).
- Use the Sell field to specify the number of rooms per room type that can be borrowed from house availability after the total rooms within the block have been picked up.
Set Wash Schedules by Percentage
- Open Block Management and select Wash Schedule.
- Select New, then enter your property name, a wash code, and a description of the wash code.
- Select Add.
- Enter the number of days prior to arrival that the wash is to be performed.
- Select Wash by %.
- Enter a percentage of rooms to be returned to house inventory.

Required parameter(s):
- Wash Schedule - when on, it allows you to configure the Wash Schedule.
Optional parameter(s):
- Occupancy Split – when active, it allows you to indicate the number of rooms based on single, double, triple, and quadruple occupancy.
- Sell Limit – when active, it allows you to set a maximum number of reservations that can be made for the block.
