Traces Jump - Blocks
Traces are internal communications that can be attached to a reservation. Traces are directed toward specific departments (configured in roles and tasks), with specific dates and times for action completion. When completed, a Trace can be marked as resolved.

What happens with a trace if I have a multi-room type reservation? |
|
The "Total" line on the Traces Jump link shows the number of traces that are attached to the guest's reservation. |

Creating a new Trace. The From Date and To Date span the dates that actions must be taken, and can be set for any date prior to check out. If a date range is submitted, the trace will be copied for each day. |

Pending Traces. Date to take action, time, and department the action is assigned to, and the trace text display as well as the date the trace was added and who created it (by login id). Pending traces can be marked as completed, deleted, or edited. Select the Show Completed traces link to view the traces that have been marked as completed. |

Completed Traces. When the completed box is checked, the trace moves to the completed layer of the screen, and adds the date the trace was marked completed and which logged in user marked it complete. Completed traces can be edited, deleted, and marked as incomplete (completed box unchecked). Select the Hide Completed traces link to view the traces that are pending. |
