Configuring Transaction Subgroup Templates

In a multi property environment, you can create Transaction Subgroup templates and copy them to properties. Use the Transaction Configuration Workspace to configure Transaction Subgroup templates:

  1. Under Financial, select Transaction Management and then select Transaction Subgroups.
  2. Select New and complete the fields/check boxes described in the tables below.
  3. Select Save. The Transaction Subgroups – Template list appears showing the new template and a list of any other templates that have been created.

Transaction Subgroup Template Configuration Key Terms:

Fields

Description

Subgroup

Identifies the Subgroup (uses text and/or numbers).

Description

Provides an understandable description of the Subgroup.

Group

Identifies the Group to which the Subgroup belongs.

Sequence

Specifies the order in which the Subgroup appears in a list.

Copying Transaction Subgroup Templates to Properties

You can copy Transaction Subgroup templates to properties using the Copy function:

  1. Under Financial, select Transaction Management and then select Transaction Subgroup.
  2. Select Copy.
  3. On the Code Selection screen, Search for Transaction Subgroups to copy.
  4. From you search results, select one or more Subgroups and then select Add.
  5. On the Target Property screen, enter the target property name.
  6. On the Review and Copy screen, start the copy process.
  7. The system creates a property record in the respective properties that’s ready for use.
