7 Program Reference Lists

This chapter serves as a reference to the following Retail Insights programs and reference information:

Dimension extract and load (shell scripts for executing ODI ETL programs and ODI Program details)
Fact extract and load (shell scripts for executing ODI ETL programs and ODI Program details)
Maintenance (shell scripts for executing ODI ETL programs and ODI Program details)

By reviewing Chapter 5, "Retail Insights Program Overview" along with this chapter and Appendix A, "Appendix: Application Programming Interface (API)", you should be able to track, down to the table and column level, all the fact and dimension data that flows into Retail Insights data warehouse tables.

Brazil Localization Support

The following Retail Insights scripts and reporting metadata are not supported when part of a Brazil-localized Oracle Retail implementation in which Oracle Retail Fiscal Management (ORFM) replaces Oracle Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM).

sinvcstilsdsil.ksh - Loads Supplier Invoice Match data into Retail Insights.
Invoice Number attribute.
Metrics: Qty, PO Unit Cost, Invoice Unit Cost, Tot PO Unit Cost, Tot Invoice Unit Cost and Tot PO to Invoice Cost Diff.
Invoice Cost Details report.

Known Issues

The following are known issues in Oracle Retail Insights:

ODI Program Execution may result in 'ODI-17056: Variable has no value': This issue can appear while a ODI program is being executed and if any variable used within that program is not explicitly defined in the ODI package. This issue will require the variable in question to be defined explicitly at the ODI package level.

Program Reference List

Note:

The following tables are not required in Retail Insights although they are present in the database and there is no corresponding ODI or Oracle BI EE code to load data and report the data respectively. It is recommended to drop these tables from the schema unless any customizations or extensions have been made to these tables.
