NAME

fsmgr_setup - Installs, removes, and upgrades the Oracle HSM Manager software

SYNOPSIS

fsmgr_setup [-h] [-u]

DESCRIPTION

The fsmgr_setup script installs, removes, and upgrades the Oracle HSM Manager software distributed with the StorageTek QFS and Oracle HSM software packages. The Oracle HSM Manager is a graphical user interface tool that allows you to configure a StorageTek QFS file system or an Oracle HSM file system with storage and archive management capabilities.

OPTIONS

This command supports the following options:

Displays a help message.

-u

Removes the Oracle HSM Manager software and the other supporting applications. The other supporting applications are as follows:

  • TomCat

  • JRE

  • ONE Application Framework

  • Java Web Console

FILES

The fsmgr_setup script generates a log file during the installation process. If the installation is unsuccessful, you can use this file to debug your problem or you can send the file to your authorized service provider for analysis.

The script writes the log file to the following location:

∕var∕tmp∕fsmgr.setup.log.MM.dd.YYYY.HH:mm
