Specifying Locale, Time, Date, and Measurement Settings

You can determine the language displayed to users. You can also specify several other locale and internationalization settings, including the following:

 

To specify locale and internationalization settings:

  1. From the Admin menu, choose Project Defaults.

  2. Under Settings, select General, if it is not already selected. The General project defaults page displays, where you can set the following project defaults:

Language -  From the drop-down list, specify the language in which to display pages.

Number and Date Format - From the drop-down list, specify the locale in which to display numbers and dates. This setting is not applied until users log out and then log back in to the project.

Metadata - From the drop-down list, specify the language in which to display the project metadata, such as attribute names.

Data - From the drop-down list, specify the language in which to display the project data, such as attribute elements.

Intelligence Server - From the drop-down list, select the language in which to display messages from the Intelligence Server.

Measurement Units - From the drop-down list, specify the unit of measurement to use for horizontal and vertical rulers, the alignment grid, and the measurement and positioning of objects.

Time Zone  - From the drop-down list, specify the time zone in which your users work (relative to GMT).

Notes

  1. Click Apply to apply the changes.
