The project defaults for graph display allow you to personalize how graphs will display in reports.
The following project defaults are available under Graph display:
Graph size: Determine whether to Use the size settings stored in the report definition or manually set the width and height of the graph by typing numbers in the Width and Height fields.
Image format: Specify an image format in which to display graphs. The image format you choose determines how quickly the graph is displayed, as well as the quality of the images.
Use the settings stored in the report definition: Specify that graphs are displayed in whatever format they are saved in.
BMP: This is the largest image format, so graphs displayed in this format are not displayed as quickly as those in PNG or JPEG format. However, this format is useful for storing high-quality images.
JPEG: The JPEG format is smaller than the BMP format, so JPEG images are displayed more quickly. However, JPEG images have lower quality compared to BMP or PNG. This format is useful if the graphs contain gradient effects because gradients are displayed correctly in JPG, without requiring large file sizes.
PNG: This image format is a smaller image format than BMP, and offers high-quality images. However, PNG files are generally larger than JPEG files.
Show graph and grid reports by default in 'Grid and Graph' view mode: Determine whether graph reports should be displayed in Grid and Graph view mode by default. You can view a report's grid and graph at the same time by viewing a graph report in Grid and Graph mode.
Click Apply to apply the changes.
Note: Clicking Load Default Values will reset all options to their default settings.
