You can specify display options for a Gauge widget, such as whether to show data labels and a title, using the Gauge Properties dialog box.
Show Data Labels: Determine whether to show or hide the value that the gauge needle is pointing to. For example, if the gauge needle points to $65,000, “$65,000” is displayed in the center of the gauge. This check box is cleared by default.
Default series color: Select the series color scheme.
Show title: Determine whether to show or hide the title, which appears at the bottom of the gauge.
Inherit graph formatting: Determine whether or not to apply formatting inherited from the widget’s underlying graph report. This check box is selected by default.
The following formatting options can be inherited from the widget's underlying graph report:
Font type and size
Background and border color of the widget
The minimum and maximum values that can be displayed in the widget
The positioning of the minimum and maximum values on the gauge
The display style and color of the gauge faceplate, gauge border, and needle
Legend formatting, including legend position, legend background and border color, and font used to display items in the legend
To access the Gauge Properties dialog box:
In Flash Mode or Interactive Mode, right-click the Gauge widget and select Properties. The Gauge dialog box opens.
