Thermometer Properties dialog box

You can specify display options for a Thermometer widget, such as the type of thermometer to display, using the Thermometer Properties dialog box.

Thermometer Type: Select a shading scheme, which determines the colors and shading of the thermometer.

Min Value: Type the minimum value for the thermometer. This value appears at the bottom of the thermometer.

Max Value: Type the maximum value for the thermometer. This value appears at the top of the thermometer.

Inherit graph-grid formatting: Determine whether or not to apply formatting inherited from the widget’s underlying graph report. This check box is selected by default.

The following formatting options can be inherited from the widget's underlying graph report:

- Number and date formatting
- Font type, size, and color
- Background and border color of the widget
- Legend formatting, including position, background color, border color, and font

To access the Thermometer Properties dialog box:

In Flash Mode or Interactive Mode, right-click the Thermometer widget and select Properties. The Thermometer dialog box opens.
