Report Full Screen mode

Use the full screen view mode to view a dashboard, report, or document without the toolbars, menus, and panels at the top of the screen. When viewing a document in full screen mode, only the standard toolbar and the page-by or grouping fields remain visible.

Use the appropriate steps below to view a report or document in full screen mode, switch from full screen to normal mode. Report designers can enable a report to open in full screen mode.

 

To view a report or document in full screen mode:

  1. Open the report or document in Grid, Graph, or Grid and Graph view.

  2. From the Home menu, click Restore Normal Screen Mode icon.

 

Notice that all of the menus, toolbars, and panels are removed from the screen, except the standard toolbar and the page-by or grouping panel.

 

Click the Restore Normal Screen Mode icon Restore Normal Screen Mode icon to re-display the menus, toolbars, and panels at the top of the report or document.

 

Use the following settings to open a report or document in full screen mode by default.

To set full screen mode as default:

  1. Open a report or document in Grid, Graph, or Grid and Graph view.

  2. From the Tools menu, click to view the Report Options dialog.

  3. In the General tab, select the Always open this report in full screen mode check box.

  4. Click Apply to apply the changes.

  5. Click OK to close the dialog box.

The next time the report is executed, it will automatically open in full screen mode.
