Properties dialog box, Document Properties, Mobile

The Mobile section in the Document Properties section of the Properties dialog box lets you specify display options for a document in the XBR Ingenium mobile app, such as whether tabs are used to select a layout in a multi-layout document. The options are described below:

BlackBerry

Data View: Determines the layout in which reports and documents are displayed on the BlackBerry.

    1. Tabular Interactive: This option allows the widest number of report and document manipulations on the mobile device, but does not allow certain report formatting during the design process.

Original Layout: This option provides flexibility when designing reports and documents, but disables some of the Mobile user's functionality. The Original Layout allows you to sort on a grid, move objects to and from the page-by axis, rearrange rows on a grid, and rearrange columns on a grid.

iPhone

Layout bar style: Determine the style of the layout bar that is displayed when the document is viewed on an iPhone or Android device.

    1. Tabs: Displays the layout bar as a row of selectable tabs.

Swipe: Displays the layout bar in the location set in the Layout bar position drop-down list. Users can swipe between pages or select an option in the layout bar to display a document layout on the mobile device.

Layout bar position: Determine where the layout bar is displayed on the mobile device. This option is only available if the Layout bar style is set to Swipe.

    1. Top: Displays the layout bar at the top of the mobile device.

Bottom: Displays the layout bar at the bottom of the mobile device.

    1. Enable graph tooltips: Determine whether tooltips are displayed in documents on the mobile device. Tooltips provide additional information about a graph, such as the value of a specific data point.

iPhone and iPad

Enable zoom (pinch and double tap): You can enable zooming in on the document using the pinch and double tap gestures by selecting this check box

Refresh document every ___ seconds: You can have the document periodically refresh itself as it is being displayed on a mobile device. Select this check box. In the field, type the amount of time, in seconds, to wait before each refresh.

Enable copy for text: Determine whether a user can select and copy text fields on the document, when the document is displayed on an iPhone or iPad. You can override this setting for a specific text field.
